The island of Pag – an island with an ideal climate

The island of Pag has a unique climate combined with mild winters and very hot summers. The Mediterranean climate is expressed in more than 2,500 hours of sunshine per year, which puts the island of Pag at the very top of the list of places with the most hours of sunshine in the year in the Republic of Croatia, and beyond.

The average annual temperature of the island is at a very pleasant 16 °C, where it generally does not fall below 5 °C in winter, while in summer it goes over 35 °C.

In addition, the island of Pag belongs to the group of Croatian islands with the least precipitation, where the average annual amount of precipitation is 800 mm.
